We met for the first time
We meet at an ESN event for UPC's welcome week where Stian was going to study during the year.

25–26 Sep 2021 · La Cerdanya
Integration Weekend ESN
As the last activity of the ESN welcome days, we organize a weekend away in La Cerdanya where we organize activities for them to know each other and party. There, Stian showed interest in me for the first time. Pretty clearly I must say haha.

First date
Stian asked me out in a very casual way. He used the excuse for the final ESN party (welcome gala) which required for him to buy a suit, for me to go with him suit shopping. He knew exactly what he was doing.

1–3 April 2022 · Menorca
First trip together as a couple
On the first of April, we went on our first trip together just the two of us. We had to catch a flight very early to go to Menorca and that same morning, before leaving the house, Stian officially asked me to be his girlfriend (about time I would say…)

End of June 2022
Stian goes back to Norway
When Stian was done with his year in Barcelona, he moved back to Trondheim but I didn't move with him. I had to finish my master thesis in Barcelona for my masters in Design and present it by end of September. Thus, our 6 months of long distance relationship began.

July 2022 · Norway
Sílvia goes to Norway for a month
I went to Norway for a month, met all of Stian's family for the first time, discovered the city and many other beautiful places around the country and learnt all about the country that Stian calls home.

Christmas 2022–23 · Patagonia
Patagonia Trip with Sílvia's family
For Christmas and New Years, my family had a trip to Patagonia planned and my parents were very eager to bring Stian along so we made some “last-minute” plans for him to join us. We spent 15 days traveling Argentina and Chile, visiting beautiful places and most importantly, spending time with each other.

January 2023 · Oslo
Moving to Norway
Right after the Patagonia trip, I packed my bags and moved to Norway to start my life there. I went there with 6 huge suitcases, no job and a very average Norwegian level. However, I moved to Oslo and Stian was still living in Trondheim finishing his last year of master so I moved into a shared apartment with a Norwegian girl.

Moving in together
When Stian was done with his master, he came back to Oslo and we rented a small and very charming apartment near Storo, where we currently live.

We bought an apartment!
Our initial idea was to find an apartment by the time Stian moved back to Oslo and move in right away but we didn't manage to find something we liked so we waited until we found the perfect apartment… and so we did!

Apartment renovation
We got the keys into the new apartment mid October and thus the renovation journey began.

Officially moving into the apartment
After New Years, we officially moved into the apartment, which was mostly finished at that point thanks to Stian's parents' help, coming in during Christmas and New Years to help finish things up while I was in Spain.

October 2025 · Sant Cugat
We're getting married!
On what was supposed to be a golf trip to Spain with Stian's best friends, Stian had other things planned… to propose! Who could see that coming? It was the most special day and I got to celebrate it with the people who I love the most next to me.
18–20 June 2027 · La Cerdanya
We get married
The whole weekend in La Cerdanya, with all of you.
